Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born on the 10th of April, 1986) is a former actress turned model from India who primarily appeared in Hindi films. Ayesha was awarded the Filmfare's Best Debut Award, in 2004, for her performance as the main actress on Taarzan The Wonder Car. It was her first time acting. Later, she appeared in popular movies including Paathshaala (2010) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) and Socha Na Tha (2010). Her first cameo was for the commercial of the famous health beverage Complan. The defining I'm a Complan Boy, I'm a Complan Girl commercial for Complan, the actress co-starred with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. She also appeared in the remix for Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin. The success of the song across India throughout its remix phase made her famous. Soon she began to get offers for Bollywood film projects. Taarzan Wonder Car Wonder Car was known late in the development of Takia's debut. It was to appear in the movie Socha Na Tha but was stopped due to production difficulties. The moral courage of Ayesha was demonstrated as she criticized her political father-inlaw Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party member Abu Azmi for his views about the penalty for rape survivors. While participating in an PETA India commercial, she issued a public declaration stating that she was a vegan. In 2006 she appeared on the list of Top Desirable Women of India.
