Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. She is renowned for her movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. She started as a photo assistant later moved into modeling and acting. Her first two movies were noticed, and she was awarded the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. With just three movies, she became the top female box office actress in the entire world. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were made in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. The actress has appeared in a variety of different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
